Practice Administrator
Scotia has more than 20 years of experience working in dermatology, and specifically in our office as the front office manager and scheduler. We are excited to have her take the lead as our Practice Administrator in 2020. She is originally from New York, and has been happily married for over 20 years with 2 wonderful children.
Beverly
Scheduler and Front Office Assistant
Beverly assists in coordinating the scheduling and communications with referring practices. She has been in dermatology for over 13 years. Beverly has 4 children and is an avid reader and film buff. She can never resist a Starbucks, especially when inside a Target.
Paula
Front Office Assistant
Paula is our billing specialist and prepares patient accounts. She also handles insurance claims issues and maintains credentialing for the physicians. Paula is an avid runner and gardener.
Melanie
Scheduler and Front Office Assistant
Melanie assists in answering patient phone calls, scheduling patients, communicating with insurance companies, as well as referring physicians’ offices. Melanie and her husband are the proud parents of a Morkie puppy named Beau. She is also a proud University of Alabama football fan. Roll Tide!
Nancy
Front Office Assistant
Nancy joined Baucom & Mina Derm Surgery, LLC in 2020 and is responsible for checking patients in and answering phone calls, among other front office duties. She is back in the workforce after raising 3 daughters, and a previous career as a financial analyst. Nancy and her family recently moved back to Atlanta from New York.
Jensi
Front Office Assistant
Jensi recently joined Baucom & Mina Derm Surgery, LLC in 2023 and is responsible for helping with clerical and administrative duties including answering phone calls, greeting and checking patients in, and scheduling patients for appointments and procedures. Born and raised in Nashville, TN, Jensi and her husband moved to north Georgia in 2019. When Jensi is not studying for her aesthetician license, she and her husband enjoy spending time with their German Shepard, Woodrow and working on their 1942 farmhouse remodel!
Julie, RN, MSN
Ambulatory Surgery Center Manager
Julie received her RN and MSN nursing degrees at Vanderbilt University. She has previously worked in the neonatal intensive care unit for over 10 years, but made the switch to dermatology several years ago. In 2023 she took on the role of Ambulatory Surgery Center Manager helping make sure our surgery centers run smoothly. She’s a busy mom of 3 and enjoys spending time with her dogs on long walks in the woods.
Kara, BSN, RN
Ambulatory Surgery Center Nurse
Kara received her nursing degree from Georgia Baptist College of Nursing. She has experience as a clinical and ambulatory surgery center (ASC) nurse and has also completed the surgical services residency program at Northside Hospital. When she’s not working, Kara is a busy mom of 2 young girls and enjoys her hobby as an earring designer.
Kathryn, BSN, RN
Ambulatory Surgery Center Nurse
Kathryn received her BSN, RN nursing degree from the Medical College of Georgia (Athens campus, Go Dawgs!). She has previously been the Ambulatory Surgery Center Manager at Baucom & Mina Derm Surgery for over 7 years, and a director for operating room education at Piedmont Hospital. She is now proud ‘Honey’ to two grandchildren.
Lindsay, BSN, RN
Lindsay Ryan, Ambulatory Surgery Center Nurse
Lindsay received her BSN, RN degree from Villanova University. Before joining the practice, she previously worked in many areas including Cardiology and Pediatrics. She is a mom of 4 and originally from Boston, MA.
Libby, RN, MSN
Libby received her undergraduate degree from Georgia Tech and her Master’s in Nursing from Medical College of Georgia. She has worked in a variety of fields including surgery, labor and delivery, and pediatrics, but we're pretty sure dermatology is now her favorite! When she's not working, she’s spending time with her husband, young daughter, and mini Goldendoodle.
LaTisha
Clinical Manager, Histotech and Medical Assistant
LaTisha has worked in dermatology since 2007 and alternates between surgical assisting and histopathology. In 2023 she stepped into the role of Clinical Manager where she helps oversee our clinic and staff. When she’s not at work, LaTisha is preparing to further her education in nursing school and enjoys running 5Ks.
Ashley
Johns Creek Site Manager, Histotech and Medical Assistant
Ashley is a medical assistant and histotech with over a decade of experience in Mohs surgery. She is originally from Washington state and enjoys a rainy day! She has two growing children and a firefighter husband.
Tiffany
Histotech and Medical Assistant
Tiffany has worked in the medical field for over a decade, and in dermatology since 2017. She joined Baucom & Mina Derm Surgery, LLC in 2020 and is a medical assistant and histotech. She enjoys trying out new restaurants around Atlanta, especially in fast cars!
Denice
Histotech and Medical Assistant
Denice has over 29 years of experience as a dermatology medical and surgical assistant. She joined our practice in 2022. A very early riser, Denice has never seen a morning she doesn’t like!
Lenay
Histotech and Medical Assistant
Lenay has been in dermatology for 5 years and most recently joined our practice in 2022. While originally from Wisconsin, she has found the winters to be more enjoyable here in Georgia! She enjoys traveling and spending time with her adorable maltipoo, Thunder.
Tameka
Tameka Medical Assistant
Tameka joined our office in 2022 after working in obstetrics and gynecology for over 20 years. She enjoys the fast pace of dermatology and surgery assisting. She is the busy mom of 2 girls and attends Georgia State University for nursing.
Natalia
Natalia Medical Assistant
Originally from Russia, Natalia moved to the U.S. in 2000. She has worked in dermatology and Mohs surgery for over 22 years and joined our practice in 2022. She is the mom to 3 children including 2 twin boys and enjoys flying small airplanes.
